It apply to the crystalline modules (testing, factory inspection) and don’t apply to the concentrating modules.
Solar panel reliability testing the designed service life of solar modules is about 20-30 years. And the reliability testing is to simulate the solar on land to assure the modules can run over 20 years under normal circumstances.
The basic performance requirements after testing the solar modules should be checked basically after testing to assure the modules conform to the regulations. But the conformance standards vary to the regulations. Generally, there are 3 items should be checked after testing 1. Visual inspection to check if there’s any defect; 2. The solar modules output power can’t lower than 5% of that before testing; 3. Use the ohm gauge to check the insulation resistance which should exceed 40MΩ.

General process
Sign the contract, confirm the cooperating relationships;
Work out the schedules;
Inform the enterprises to prepare the related information and samples according to TUV requirements;
Sample production;
Ship samples to labs;
Check the documents;
Technical services and retests (if necessary);
Prepare test reports and technical files;
Factory inspection;
Forward all the documents to Germany engineers;
Issuing the certificate.
