The products exported to any country of 28 countries in European Economic Area included EU and EFTA may need CE certification.
The following 28 (15+10+3) European countries need CE mark.
There are 15 European members before May 1st, 2004:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom (Great Britain)
Another 10 new members join in EU on May 1st, 2004
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary ,Slovenia, Malta, Cyprus.
