On February 26th, 2010, EU published the decision of commission of 2010/122/EU, as to the immature technology of the Cadmium replacement in LED products, EU decided to
exempt it. Therein, 2010/122/EU requires, add item No.39 in the annex of ROHS directive:”39. The Cadmium applied in the color conversion II-VI LED (< 10μg
Candela/mm2luminous area)of solid lighting or display system.”
