LVD DIRECTIVE
In order to adapt to the New EU legislation Framework，the EU's official journal unveiled a new version of the low voltage directive 2014/35 / EUto replace the existing low voltage directive 2006/95 / EC.
The new directive will be executed on April 20, 2016. Each member must finishlegislative process before April 19, 2016. In other words, VOC which is based on the old low voltage directive will not be accepted after April 20, 2016.
Involved products: electrical devices whose rated voltage ranges from 50-1000v(ac)and 75-1500v (dc).
The new directive is designed to ensure that more convenient access to markets and higher levels of protection of consumers' lives and property:
clear about the responsibility of the manufacturers, importers and distributors.
Electronic means is more widely used in the conformity certificate.
The safety of the consumer is more secure by consummating the defects or unsafety and product trace system and perfecting the eligibility assessment system and supervision.
Make more complete market supervision agency to track and prevent the import of dangerous products.
The new directive clarifies that manufacturers should take the responsibility ofconformity assessment alone. Notified bodies will no longer intervene eligibility assessment procedures.
